This mower is in field ready condition.These are excellent, low cost machines.

They are great machines for mowing hay, mowing under fences, and around trees--sickle bars are good, useful machines. They are really good for a small acreage farmer, since they are not as big an investment as some of the other types of mowers.

We recommend at least a 30 horse tractor with this mower.

To my knowledge no pitman mower, including this one, will mow below horizontal, and not very far vertical, I'd say about 45 degrees.
