Hello there, Up for offers is a Cub Cadet 125 Hydro with a Danco front end loader. This tractor was taken very good care of. Was owned by an older machinist who used it around his place. The tractor runs fine with no smoke and no bad noises. The charging system works. the head lights work. the transaxle works as it should. The brakes work. Even the saftey switch on the brake pedal is hooked up and works. The loader is very strong and has NO LEAKS. The cylinders were rechromed and resealed about 6 years ago. Most of the hoses are the old braided type that came on the tractor new. They are all in good usable shape and DO NOT LEAK. This machine was always kept inside a garden shed. The paint is mostly origional. There some parts that have been repainted or touched up. The seat has a few rips but the fiberglass pan has NO CRACKS. I have the owners manual that came new with the tractor as well as the one for the loader. You also get a fork lift attachment I think was home made. I am not positive as it is a very nice job. Steering has some play, but not as bad as many I have seen without loaders. Now for thenot so goods; The hood has a couple of places where the paint is missing. looks like somthing was rubbing againts it. At some time the old owner removed the stiffener from the right side of the hood. I dont think the hood is hurt. it looks like he cut the rivets from the inside. From the outside all you can see are three small holes where rivets used to be. Otherwise it is a very nice hood with no dents and a nice chrome ornament. The choke knob was moved from the dash to the left side below the dash. It works fine and is a nice clean job. I do not know what is suposed to hold the expanded metal grill in place. A spring? Cotter pins? The grill is very nice but I dont know how it attaches to the tractor. I think that about covers it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer them. I am not a Cub Cadet guy so dont know the finer points of these tractors. I am a Power King collector/user. I would probabaly keep this little tractor if I didnt have a PK with a loader.
I would be happy to store this tractor for a month or so if you need time to pick it up. I would be glad to bring it along to Penns Cave spring show if it helps. I could also get it down to Easton Md. without too much trouble. I am willing to help with shipping as best I can. However, in the end you are responsible for making the shipping arrangments. Local pick up is welcome. Talk to me if you have concerns before you offer.
This is a very nice, well taken care of little tractor. But at the end of the day it is a 45 year old machine and is being sold "as-is". Thanks for looking and good luck. And I almost forgot; .
